a simple little garden filled
with weeds and rusted things,
broom and rhododendron trees
with hummingbirds
and bumblebees.

a simple place to rest my gaze
while hearing nearby ravens sing;
and ponder mysteries, at least.
or wander there,
some strange new beast.
