Jesus said unto them: - "Ye are gods".-
and showed in their own scripture where was written
the exhortation of the Lord of heaven
unto all men, to see through life's facades.
Reminding them all scripture is fulfilled,
he asked what blasphemous abomination
they'd found him guilty of, for proclamations
resounded in the word of God. His will
intending all His children here on earth
be granted access to the gates of heaven.
'Twas for this cause example He had given;
and to this end His son had taken birth.
But darkness in them bristled at his words,
and for this hopeful message held suspicion.
While Rome laid onus on him, of sedition,
the Pharicees far greater sin incurred;
denying whom their god had sent to save,
and show the way to paradise and win them.
Instead, blind rage and jealousy within them,
not understanding, sent him to the grave.
And yet his final prayer before he died,
while sweating tears of blood there in the garden,
bespoke a one-ness shared with God; and pardon
was on his lips as he was crucified.
