raucous laughter shatters tacit dawn,
ravens gather - gossip in the trees,
jaybirds scatter,  loathing revelies
of ebon-throated cackles, not their own

tattle-talish calls. - what hippocrates!
while shadow rise and fall on distant hills
and aftermath of dreams await us still
to us the two be indiscriminate.

both fracturing the multi-colored sky
tho sunrise dances softly on our dreams;
to rather one the more is moot, or seems
no matter, - either shatters silence by!
